Question

Ticket

North Carolina Uniform Citation issued on 9/18/01 in Wake County (near Raleigh). I was pulled over for speeding, the officer claims I was going 83 in a 55mph. I received no monetary fine, rather, I am obligated to appear in court. However, there is one piece of information on the ticket that is incorrect. In the drivers license information section of the citation, the officer wrote 'GA', when in fact I gave him a Pennsylvania license, not a Georgia license. I recently moved to Georgia from Pennsylvania, so my current address is Georgia, but my license is Pennsylvania. Can this ticket be nullified b/c of the incorrect information represented on it?

No. The judge will correct the mistake in court.

Assuming racer72 is right I'm not sure I'd bring it up. I don't know how their system works, but if they send this information to GA, unless GA figures out that it's a PA license and takes the time to send it to PA this may never hit your driving record. Oops!
