Ticket Increasing?

What is the name of your state? North Carolina

I currently live in NYC and in trying to get a new license, found that there is a hold on my license from NC. My District of Columbia license expired in '95 but before it did it had been reinstated due to an automatic suspension from an unpaid speeding ticket in VA (the ticket had been paid but VA hadn't sent that info-fortunately I had kept my receipt). At that time, there was no word of an outstanding ticket in NC. Now, about 11 years later, when I try to get a new license, NC has a hold. There was a ticket from a NC highway patrolman for an expired inspection sticker (it had expired during my visit to my parents house in NC).
Honestly, I had forgotten about the ticket. Originally it was for $75, but has grown from interest and penalties now to over $400. Is there someway I can get the penalties and interest waived or reduced? If so how? Do I have to file some sort of motion to get it before a judge again?

Thanks for any help,
Juliusnyny

That can only be answered by the court. I suggest you contact them and ask.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
