Ticket not signed by officer??


What is the name of your state? North Carolina
I recieved a speeding ticket the other day and where it is supposed to be signed by the officer, its not.. It was 70 in a 55. Must it be completed fully??

Not in North Carolina, officer's signatures are only required on tickets that have a mandatory court appearance. This question has been asked before, I was able to verify it through my cousin's wife, she works for a lawfirm in the Charlotte area.

The ticket filed at the courthouse is the only one that needs to be signed.

Thanks guys.. after making aright turn out of my village. I was coming up thru the gears, into sixth. I had'nt even gone 400 yds. Looked down to set my cruise control. At the time I looked down I was doing 65.. I set my speed at 60 which is what I always set it at..He said the radar said I was doing 71..Said he reduced it to 70, because 15 over was his limit???
Does that mean if I was going 10 mph over it would have been OK??
