are ticket quotas illegal in Louisiana?

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Louisiana

I need some advice on Louisiana law please. I need to know is there a law that makes police ticket quotas illegal? especially dealing with small towns less than 4,500 pop. Your advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!! I was giving a citation by a small town cop and was told the reason was because he had to make his ticket quota that the towns police chief and mayor set.

You left out a piece of information I (as a layman) would see as relevant. Were you speeding?

I admit I was speeding

Oh, I admit I was speeding 10 over and got cited for same. I deserved the ticket. My question though is I heard in some states ticket quotas are illegal. I was just curious if Louisiana had a law about this because I think that might create so called made up violations by the officer to ensure if gets his quota. Do you know what I mean? thanks for your replies
