Ticket with the wrong name.

I am in Atlanta, GA. I recieved a ticket for speeding and called to find the fine amount. When I entered my ticket number they reported a different last name from mine. It appears to be a spelling error but it is entered into their automated system this way.

My address and drivers license number are right but I heard these can be fought. Should I go to court and enter not guilty?

That would not be enough to have a ticket dismissed. As long as the basic information on the citation is correct, the citing entity has enough information to find you guilty.
