Titling/Registration-PA

What is the name of your state? PA
When I tried to renew my registration online it said the records did not match. So I called the call center number and got the run-around for about a month. After threatening to contact the governor, I finally got to speak with someone at the actual PennDot in Harrisburg. They said someone with the same exact title and VIN number sold their car in May and that their title takes precedence over mine! My title matches up with ALL of the VIN numbers on on my vehicle, so this other person cannot possibly have the correct title for their vehicle. Still PennDot refuses to give me a new "Valid" title and register my car. I have been dealing with PennDot directly for a month. I don't know who to contact for help, a lawyer? the governor's Office? I have searched for hours on the internet to find some way to get help, but there is no info! HELP!

Be realistic......the Governor's Office isn't going to help you.

Speak to an attorney, or maybe try speaking to one of you local state reps. They tend to be much more helpful.
