TR-200 and TR-205

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Californa

When sending in a TR-200 TBWD do you have to send in a 205 before hand to request for it and the Bail amount for 205 or can you just send the TR-200 with the Bail amount saying NOT GUILTY and Your Facts?

if you dont send in the amount will it be denyed or does that just wave your rights to a speedy trial?

TR205
You may mail OR deliver the request for a Trial by Written Declaration along with the bail amount. If the form is mailed it is best to ceritfy it with a return receipt.
On the back of the form is a place to write why the case should be dismissed.
For an example you can refer to a book published by NOLO on fighting tickets in CA. which may be available through a local library.
Or type in trial by written declaration sample in the Google Search window and click on the websites the search brings up.
Help!I Got A Ticket website also has information regarding a trial by declaration.
(Form TR-200, INSTRUCTIONS TO DEFENDANT) is for the driver's use.

Best Regards,
Hey There

A driver doesn't lose the right to a speedy trial by submitting this form.
