What is the name of your state? Ohio

I am contesting a speeding ticket. The first court date that I went to - all I got to do was enter a plea (not guilty). They said that they would send me a letter in the mail telling me when to come to court again.

They had a file folder that contained the court case documents. If I go to the court house and request a copy of everything in the file, are they required to provide it?

My reason is that the CC of the ticket that I got is starting to fade and I'd like to have a copy of the original. I'd also like to see what else they've got in the file.

Thanks!
