Traffic light penalties

What should the fine and point penalty be for running a red light in Colorado? Isn't $90 and 4 points kind of excessive?

Sorry to disappoint you, but asking people what they think a fine "should" be makes about as much sense as shaking that big black ball for answers. Many people die every year from red light runners. $90/4 sounds light to me, but everyone will have a different opinion.
