| | | | Traffic School - more than once in an 18 month period? (CA) I know that you are only allowed to take it once every 18 months, but i notice that the clerk's office doesn't seem to know your traffic school history and always needs to ask if you have taken it recently or not. Does anyone have any experience with taking it more than once within the 18 month timeframe and having it go unnoticed, or, conversely, trying to do this and being denied, either right away or eventually? I have a "friend" who would be interested to know, just for curiousity's sake of course |

My response:
Gee, I'll bet your "friend" is a Mercedes Benz driver, right Verx?
Sorry, I can't help you. You see, I abide by the laws. I haven't had a driving infraction for more than 30 years, and that was for an illegal U-Turn, and I've been driving for 34 years. If you're mathematically disadvantaged, I'm 50 years old.
I learned my lesson about driving laws, speed laws, and Rules of the Road laws a long time ago. Perhaps you could use a refresher course because traffic laws really aren't that difficult to obey. Your infraction was a matter of a lack of "courtesy" to other drivers. You changed lanes without any care in the world for how it would affect others. Stop thinking of yourself. You're not the only driver out there. Once you start changing your mindset, you won't have any accidents either.
Just follow the rules. They're simple.

| | | | whoopdedoo Well goody gumdrops for you. My sympathies that the best thing you have to do on a saturday afternoon is troll the message boards searching for ways to patronize others and brag about your blind conformity.
Perhaps someone with a less holier-thant-hou attitude has something to say? |

My response:
"Blind conformity"?
Well, since you're not a "conformist", then you go right ahead and pay those fines WITH the 171% "enhancements" (oh, you're going to love those enhancements). One day, you'll learn after paying those hefty fines that there's a lot of good financial advantage to "conformity", and a lot of good in being "courteous" on the road. Like I said, you're not the only one out there.
Happy "paying", and keep that record spotless (Ha, ha, ha, ha!)
