There is no statute of limitation on traffic tickets. Statute of limitations apply to the time between the time of committing an infraction and filing of charges and the actual arrest. With traffic stops, that time is usually measured in seconds, minutes at the most. For this reason most states do not recognize SOL statutes as they apply to traffic offenses. Also, there are no SOL as they apply to failure to appear.
