Traffic Ticket in Washington State

What is the name of your state? Washington

One time when I was in traffic court with my brother I heard a lot of people getting out of their tickets because the officer didn't file the citation in time. Do you know what the time limit is and what the RCW might be?

I found the answer myself. They have 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) to file it. It is not a RCW it is IRLJ Rule 2.2(d)

48 hours is correct and there have been a couple occasions that I have filed citations after the 48hour rule.
