"she read all the charges can she do this"
*** Yes.

"i thought on your first hearing you are supposed to be read what your charged with."
*** Correct, but that does not preclude a reading of ALL the charges. You already knew them.

"also, how far can county police come in city limits to stop you.i was never in the county i was in the city but a county police gave me the tickets."
*** As long as the city you refer to is IN the county, the county officer (sheriff?) has jurisdiction.

"my case was continued till jan for some unknown reason. please help i think they trying to stick me and the police officer has done something wrong"
*** There is nothing in your post to show or even imply the officer was in error.

**A: please call the court and find out the "unknown reason" and get back to us.

Jetx and Hex..

In Virginia, there is both city and county sheriff's along with city and county police. Generally speaking, city and county governements are seperate and that county governments have no say in funding city governements.

Vanessa, County police can stop you within any city limit as long as the city is still in the county limits.

*** No where in my post did I say anything about city or county funding!!

And your statement that county LEO can enforce within city limits as long as in county is EXACTLY what I already said!!!

As a general rule (unless otherwise agreed between jurisdictions), a municipal officer can only cite within the municipality limits, county officers can cite anywhere within the county and state officers can cite anywhere within the state.
