Traffic Voilation

What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state? CO
Is Traffic Ticket for speeding is a considred a "Crime" OR "Citation by a police officer" (OR None of the two, crime or citation).

My response:

First, I really like your French spelling of "violation". That was cool!

Second, it all depends upon the speed limit of the road, and the speed you were tagged at.

12 miles above the limit (47 miles in 35 miles zone). The fine was $100 and 3 points.

Most citations are considered "Civil Infractions" which is not a crime. Only your driving record will be affected. If it were a crime you would be required to go to court, and be charged with either a misdimener, or felony.
