traffic warrants, called on them and they informed me i could not set up a payment pl

i live in the state of texas and i have well i think its 12 tickets or well warrants now, for various things such as no registration, no license, no insurance.. no moving violations plus a few failure to appear tickets.. i have had these tickets for about three years and have been arrested on these warrants once.. and paid 500 dollars to get a payment plan set up for myself.. i messed up and ended up not paying off this payment plan and the warrants were reissued, originally the fines were like 3300 dollars.. now after being reissued there like up to 4437.34.. i'm not understanding this really i called on them and they said that i was charged warrants fees again, but my understanding is that warrant fees are only 25 dollars in this area.. on 12 tickets thats only 300 dollars minus the 500 i gave them originally so the way i see it is that it should be less than the original fine.. just wondering if anyone had any advice on this and what exactly i can do other than just paying the fines... it just doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me

My response:

You're completely irresponsible. That's why life in general doesn't make sense to you.

You're very welcome. Any time you need a kick in the ass, you just come right back here and ask for me.

Now, go back to your prison cell.

If I had copies of all the warrants etc in front of me, I would be able to chart a apreadsheet of the fees and costs.
If you really want a detailed explanation, go down to your courthouse and they will be happy to explain it to you. However, the bottom line is you owe the money - just pay it.

As a word of advice, Driving is a privilege - NOT a right. Learn to use public transportation, if you can't afford a license, insurance or registration. People who drive irresponsibly (w/o a license, insurance or registration or recklessly) cause rates to rise in insurance which effect people like me or IAAL who have clean driving records and pay our bills on time.

sorry for not explaining myself fully.. but.. i actually legally had insurance and a license.. and was out of work and couldnt afford the registration and inspection.... most of the times i was pulled over i was out looking for a job or something of this sort.. hmm ya... i know its somewhat moronic to not have gone and taken care of these things when i could have with very little charge to myself.. just wondering, i sold this vehicle it was on but at the time everything was current.. when these tickets go to warrants is it still possible to go to the courthouse and present these documents and have the charges dropped??

NO. Absolutely NOT.

Why should the court drop these charges of which you were found guilty? Driving w/o registration IS A CRIME. You got caught. Tough times or not, you need to pay for your crimes you committed.
