Typographical Error

What is the name of your state? Illinois
I recently received a speeding ticket for 100 in a 55. The officer, however, incorrectly wrote the location. He wrote East instead of west. (1/2 mile west of randall rd. instead of 1/2 mile east) Can I get off on this error?

My response:

Some people are pretty kinky and can "get off" on most anything. You'd be surprised.

However, as a "legal defense" to your violation, there's not a chance in hell.
