Un safe Movement GS20-154

North Carolina

I drive an '01 Mustang with a loud exhaust. I was pulling out of a parking spot in a large mall parking lot. It had just rained and my back end slid around. I understand that old tires without tread have no traction and I know that my cars traction control does not work. After sliding around I stopped in a distant parking spot and I got out of my car to talk to my father. When I got out a policeman came speeding around with his lights on. The cop was rude and uncooperative as I tried to explain I simply slid with no intention of doing so. He accused me of doing doughnuts and burnouts and trying to show off. He said he didn't see me but heard me, and I then explained that I have a loud exhaust and my car is loud starting up and loud when its in park or at any speed.

This cop did not see me and did not want to understand the situation and condition of my tires vs the condition of the road. What can I do? I got cited for GS 20-154 unsafe movement infraction. Is this just something I can pay or will I still get points on my license?

Thanks.
