Exclamation

last night 3 friends and i were drinking when a state trooper pulled in and aproached the car. we were all under age and 1 person was under 18. her mother came to pick her up and told the officer that she didn't want to press any charges. so the officer told me that there wouldn't be a corruption of minors charge against me. anyway, he asked each of us to step out of the car one at a time. i was the driver and the first one to go. i admitted to have been drinking but only said i had a couple. he then game me the pen light test and told me to go back to the car. then my 2 other friends aproached him and he asked them the same questions but he never gave them any kind of tests. after that he told us to dump the beers out that were in the car which we complied to and then he told me to put the empty ones in the trunk. after that he told us that there would be paper work coming in the mail. he then proceeded to tell me he was already an hour late getting home and for me to stay where i was until i felt i was ok to drive and then go home. i'm just wondering if he was just trying to scare the hell out of us or if we really are getting charged. if we are charged is there any way of getting out of it based on his action? you opinion would be greatly apreciated.

My opinion is you are LUCKY as he could have taken you to JAIL for the night.

The cop sounds as if he is a nice guy. And if all he did it for is to scare you, I hope you appreciate how lucky you all are.
