Unpaid GA traffic ticket ... HELP!

I live in GA. Two years ago, I was stopped for speeding in Gwinnett County outside of Atlanta. I was wrong, I went to court, pleaded nolo, and went home. I didn't have any cash on me that day so I sent in a money order to the addy on the bottom of the ticket and never checked to see if it had been received. Come to find out today as I'm getting my paperwork together to apply for Officer Candidate School that there was a bench warrant out for my arrest for an upaid ticket, this very one. Uh oh ... . I'm going to call the court house tomorrow to find out what to do. But I'm very worried because I don't have the cash to pay off what I'm expecting to be a rather sizeable fine right now (the original ticket was for $60). Will I get arrested? Can I work out some sort of payment deal? What's the best way to go about getting this situation fixed ASAP? I know I screwed up in not following up ... this is totally my fault. I'm just trying to get this corrected in the least painful way possible.

Thanks all

I had bench warrant issued for me in MO. I called the courthouse and had to bring them money for bond. I was given a court date and provided the judge with an explanation of why the payment was not made or show up in court. The judge used my bond as payment for my fine and I walked out free and clear. I was told by the courthouse that these things happen all the time. I wouldn't worry so much, just pay the bond so the warrant goes away. Then go to court and tell the judge what happened and that you just want to make amends with the court.
