unpaid traffic ticket

What is the name of your state?

I live in TN, but was is FL visiting. While there I received a speeding ticket on the interstate. I forgot about the ticket and then when I remembered it (it was already past the date to be paid) I couldn't find the ticket. I have no idea where the ticket was given to me. I got the ticket in October, but I don't know what action has been taken against me. I don't know who to contact because I can't remember exactly where I was when I got the ticket. I would like to pay the ticket and get this cleared up. What should I do? Will I have to go to court?
