I have an unpaid (about 5 years) speeding ticket from Bland, Virginia. I live in and have a West Virginia DL.
The ticket has never shown up on my record in WV. If I pay it, will it? And if so, will there be anything additional since it went unpaid for so long, or will it be the same as if I had paid it right away? What about additional implications for insurance, other than normal speeding ticket?
Does VA likely have an arrest warrant out for me? How can I find out for sure? Is this something that would show up on a federal employment background check?
