Vehicle condition ticket

What is the name of your state? NY
hi

An officer pulled me over today...i was going all within speed limits etc.
All my inspection papers are in order
He told me that the rear wheels of my car were wobbling.
He left me off with a warning. Is it possible for him to give me a ticket if i do not it done quick
i checked with the mechanic..he says the rim might be slightly bent and gives the wobble effect - there is no danger as such and i could get it repaired next month....am worried if the cop catches me next he cud give me a ticket?
Can a vehicle condition get u a ticket? Can this result in a ticket like 'unsafe driving' etc...

Next time your car will probably be impounded. If you are driving lawfully, you will not get a moving violation such as unsafe driving ticket.
