kansas
my 15 year old was stopped and given a ticket for having a non sibbling in the truck with her. she has a farm permit. we had a girl spending the summer with us and she was in the truck with her. this is a violation of the farm permit. the judge suspended her perment for 30 days. however, the state of kansas said that she would lose it for 1 year. they also say that i can not appeal. the judge told me and my daughter that if he had know that she would lose it for a year he would not have sent it to the state, he would have just kept the permit himself for 30 days. the state people at topeka told me that the judge could change the violation to something else and she could get her permit back. the judge talked to the city attorney and he said they could not change the ticket. what can i do? please advise.
