What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TX

My future husband is going into the military and we are getting married before he leaves to boot camp. But I have a warrent for a moving violation ticket that I got about two years ago.... as dumb as it may sound, I did not know I had to still go to court after i updated my registration and paid the fee for the ticket to be dismissed. When I go to get my marriage license will they check for warrents, or will the arrest me? Please help!What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Call your local police department and ask about turning yourself in -- it may not be as bad as you expect, and then you can put it behind you.
