| Is it worth appealing the ruling? (PA) I'm in Pennsylvania. This morning I contested a ticket and got the fine reduced. They also said I won't get any points on my license.
But the officer who ticketed me was not there. At the time I didn't think about it much, since the judge proceeded with the trial. But later on someone pointed out to me that the 6th amendment gives me the right to cross-examine any witness against me.
Is it worth appealing this? Could an appeal result in a re-trial, and if so could I end up worse off? |
