What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? WA
Would I have a better chance of reducing my fine if I appeared in court as opposed to sending in a written mitigation statement?
I was sent a notice in the mail of my traffic infraction of running a red light (I turned right on a red at 12:45 AM without stopping completely). I was caught by a traffic camera at the intersection (which was completely empty). I have had one speeding ticket within the last year.
