Wrong Court entered on ticket

Briefly, I received a ticket for expired tabs (yes I made a mistake). The officer gave me a ticket and I was going to pay it. I was instructed to call the phone number listed on the ticket and follow the instructions. I did so and sent in my payment. 4 days after the deadline for the ticket I received a letter in the mail from the court saying this was not their ticket and it should have been sent to a different court. The officer put the wrong court phone # on the ticket. At the very least I should not have to pay anything more than the origional fine, but is this enough of an error to invalidate the ticket?

No, take the letter from the other court, along with your ticket and the fine payment and hand them to the judge.
