| | | Wrong Court entered on ticket What is the name of your state? Michigan
Briefly, I received a ticket for expired tabs (yes I made a mistake). The officer gave me a ticket and I was going to pay it. I was instructed to call the phone number listed on the ticket and follow the instructions. I did so and sent in my payment. 4 days after the deadline for the ticket I received a letter in the mail from the court saying this was not their ticket and it should have been sent to a different court. The officer put the wrong court phone # on the ticket. At the very least I should not have to pay anything more than the origional fine, but is this enough of an error to invalidate the ticket? |

| No, take the letter from the other court, along with your ticket and the fine payment and hand them to the judge. |

| | | I hate it when my tabs expire. Then I have to go to all the trouble of burying them. | |
