Question

wrong date on speeding ticket


What is the name of your state? pennsylvania

i received a speeding ticket that read 04/02/02 monday

monday was april 1st
tuesday was april 2nd

is this incorrect information enough to have my case dismissed?

That is not enough to warrant a dismissal. If you were to obtain a copy of the officers report and it too had the wrong date, it would be possible to used the officers error prone manners and attack his credibility and judgement. I have seen it done by lawyers in traffic court. It all really depends on how much money you want to spend fighting it.
