Question

Wrong Gender on ticket

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Colorado
I recently got a speeding ticket and when i was looking over it I noticed that the officer put an M under sex. I'm not a male... I just want to know if i should just pay my ticket or take it to court. Will it even matter that the officer put the wrong gender on my ticket? Please help fast... If I'm going to just mail my ticket in i need to do it by next week. Thank you to who ever helps.

Will you be willing to prove your "female-ness" in court?

Does the issue of whether or not you are a male or female have any bearing on the fact that you were or were not speeding?? in a word NO. Sorry nice try but good luck. Not advice for what it's worth. Patrolman/J. Buckner

I agree with John. Were you speeding? From your post, it sounds like you were. Your sex has nothing to do with the violation. I would pay the ticket and try to slow down.

Law enforcement

is allowed to make honest mistakes. The citizen is not. The gender mistake won't matter.
