Wrong info on speeding ticket

Accident - Bankruptcy - Criminal Law / DUI - Business - Consumer - Employment - Family - Immigration - Real Estate - Tax - Traffic - Wills   Please click a topic or scroll down for more.

First off this isn't for me but a friend and it happened in Texas.

I know some incorrect info can get tickets dismissed, and some can't.

The license plate was wrong and so was the number of doors. I realize the ticket can be amended to fix the license plate error, but what about number of doors? I assume the answer is no.

Also in Texas, you can have your court date pushed back like what two times? or does vary from district to disctrict.

Thanks in advanced for the help.

Does the number of doors on the car affect the friend's ability to present a defense to the charge of Speeding?
