wrong info on ticket. dose this help me?


i got a ticket a bit ago for 82 in a 55. it was about 1;00 pm. it was just after work. anyway the date this hapend was oct. 20(10/20) and the cop put the date down as 10/20/01 but put the time down as 1020. i was clocked in at work from 9:30 to almost noon that day. i got a sigend and noterised copy of my time sheet showing this. i did sigen the ticket when i got it. being the time was wrong and i can prove it is there anyway i can beat this. this all hapend in cincinatti oh. well if anyone has any advice of info please get back to me. thank you

I would be willing to bet the judge will change the time on the citation when you show your evidence. It is worth a try though, the judge might be in a good mood that day.

while the officer made a minor mistake on the cite, it will not get it thrown out. the court will just amend the cite when the error is pointed out. however, you might get some wacked out judge who will side with you and dismiss it. if your lucky the officer will not show to court. but the facts are you were speeding and you signed the ticket.
