wrong name on summons

What is the name of your state?
maryland, i received a summons to appear for driving on suspended licsence; however it was addressed to a Junior which actually happens to be my father. I am responsible for this violation but because of the wrong surname do i still have to go to court???

Yes, you do. Before you go, though, try to fix the suspended license problem. If your license is in good standing by the time you see the judge, you may get a break.
