My 17 1/2 yr.old daughter took her 24 yr old sisters license, they look alike. She drove her boyfreinds uninsured truck and rear ended a another drivers vehicle, and gave her sisters ID.We now have a $686 bail notice for the older girl. Is there any way to solve this without either daughter ending up in serious legal trouble? Any advice would be appreciated.

Get a lawyer locally to figure out a way out of this -- it's purely a local issue of who you know. It won't be as expensive as you think -- and let the kids pay for it as they got themselves into the mess.
