Wrongfull Wreckless???

What is the name of your state?VA
so i am pulling out of a 7-eleven in my neighborhood(which has a history of crime and in my experience, dirty cops)

i put the car in reverse but let the clutch out a bit sharply. i skided a bit.(i also pulled in a bit quikley too, nothing over the speed limit though)
i put the car in first and as soon as i reach the curb two cop cars swarn me.
they tell me to pull on to the street and turn off the car. i do
they write me up for faliure to display county decal(guilty, and i will pay it)
but then they write me up for wreckless driving on private property.
i looked up the section, wasn't sure what it was saying.
i told the officers it was just a small mistake, i let the clutch out too soon, they didn't care.
i know they were staking out the place because they stradlers(extra side arms strapped to thier thighs).
they probally thought i held the place up...then were pissed that i didn't.
what should i do about this? can they serious charge me with wreckless?
i have had a real wreckless a couple years ago and payed it, i do not want to looose my lisence.
