Yellow Light Ticket

OHIO

I always go thru yellow traffic lights, but I had a friend who got a ticket when he went thru a yellow light. Why did he get a ticket? Was he supposed to stop? Was he supposed to slow down? What?

I don't know why he got a ticket. Probably because he sped up instead of slowing down. Just a guess.

At least in Oregon, the yellow light acts as a red. You are supposed to come to a stop, unless it is unsafe to do so. (ie.. to close to stop)
