What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Oregon

I got ticketed for 811.265 failure to obey a traffic signal. I was making a
left turn on a changing lite. The police took video which I have ordered to
see. When the officer stopped me he said you ran a red lite, and I said,
stupidily no it was yellow. I got a ticket and he has marked yellow on
the back. Looking at law yellow is illegal, if that was color when i started to go thru lite.
Can I fight this? I couldn't I say that I needed to go thru the lite for
safety? I will review the pics to see if lite was green when I entered?
Not really sure what color of lite was?
Any suggestions or just pay ticket?

Seeing as your statement was the light was yellow - is an admission of guilt to the officer.

However, wait until the video shows up to verify what the light was on. Why would you need to turn 'for safety' on a yellow?
