licensing agreement for prints


college logos that are used in prints (like painting prints) do they have to have a licensing deal like shirts and hats.

these will be sold on a limited basis.

how bout high school logos?

Generally you will need a license to use anyone's logo, especially when you intend to profit off its use.

Most colleges and universities are very protective of their logos, as the income derived from the licensing rights can be substantial. Many have specific licensing deals already in place to sell college and university-related products. High schools, too, use logo-labeled products as a fundraising tool.

I would check with each school and inquire about the licensing rights prior to using their logo in any artwork.
