Website won't quit using my material

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California, though offender is in Mass. I believe.

I have been writing a syndicated column for the past 8 or so years under contract to Gannett News Service. Prior to that I wrote for BabyZone, a Website. I never signed a contract with them and it was my understanding they were to get one time use. They are still running my columns on their Website despite emails from me asking them to remove the columns or pay me some compensation for all these years. I have heard nothing. What can I do?

To start with, you can hire an attorney to send them a 'cease and desist' letter.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

To the serious response re: cease and desist, I thought of that but can''t find their actual address online after googling every which way I can think of.

**A: you do not know who owns the website via registration records? I am sure Gannett can find out.
