A little while ago a made a reservation with my Mastercard and stayed in a hotel. Later when I got the bill I found that I had been charged twice. I had actually made the reservation at one hotel and yet stayed at another. Both hotels were near each other and have the same name and in the same state. My credit card company says that they can not help me. Is this correct? Do I have any recourse?

Thank you for your help,

Adam.

Write to both hotels and the local chamber of commerce and better business bureau -- it is NOT your credit company's fault.
