I own a business (private corporation) that is based out of my home. I do not publish my address on my business cards, website, etc. I just discovered a company on the web has published a "directory" of interior design firms and they put mine in there without my permission. It includes the address and a map too! I asked them twice, in writing, to remove it, and they refuse, saying it takes IT time to do it, so they want to charge me $79 to have everything removed. I repeatedly told them they did not have my permission to publish that in the first place, and made it clear the address was a residence, therefore, it affects their credibility with their "customers" as the address is of no use to them. They still refused to remove it. What are my rights?

**A: It appears that when y ou registered your corporation you listed your home address and now it is public record. If that is the case you have no right to privacy with respect to the information that is public domain. Next time use a PO Box.
