What is the name of your state? NY

Hi,

I'm starting a music and movement program for children 0-4 with an accompanying adult. Singing, dancing, running, playing instruments etc. all involved. Do I need to have insurance to cover me and the locations I am renting to teach in, or can I add a waiver to my registration form which parents must sign stating that every child must have an accompanying adult and that the building and I are absolved of legal responsibility in the event of an accident?

Thanks.

Of course you can. But whether or not that will stop lawsuits is a question only the future can tell. And it won't indemnify you from negligence.

Consider the PARENTS cover their child.
