Can an LLC Dissolve?

What is the name of your state? Tennessee
I have a single song publishing agreement with an LLC that is "disolved".
How does that effect that contract?
The LLC is the claimant on the copyright of the song, I am the author/composer.

What does your agreement state?

I won't go into the corporation statutes in Tennessee. It would be too long and complex. Suffice it to say that they begin with Title 40 of the Tennessee Statues Annotated and run for more than 248 chapters....

The short and sweet answer is yes they can dissolve but there are very specific steps to follow...

PLEASE consult a corporation attorney in Rutherford County. They ring the square in Murfreesboro and can be found next to the courthouse or the judicial building (which, if I remember my last visit two days ago, is located on the north side of the square.) it's the five story red brick building.
