What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I am requesting legal advise on copyright infringement. My manufacturer of seven years decided to recreate and manufacture my line of handbags for distribution nationwide.
What is my legal recourse? How can I be compensated for the destruction of my name (for my line) and the unauthorized use of my designs, methodology and distribution of my line?

You need a lawyer. It all depends on what they are doing and what your relationship with the manufacturer (what agreements you entered into, how you were paid, etc..).

There's a bit more detail than we can address here and if anything other than a "cease and desist" letter is required, you'll need to go to court.
