Help, We incorporated my husbands trucking company (he's the only driver) for 1999. I thought we were an "s" corp and filed an 1120s. I received notice from the irs that he should have filed an 1120 instead. but they also said that the tax id we used was the tax id number for the trucking business he ran as a sole proprietor. That is the tax id we used to operate all year, can i amend our returns and file the trucking activity as a schedual C and show no activity for the corporation????
