The only balance left on a credit card account that I closed in May, 2000 is in dispute. I submitted the dispute form in June, it is still not resolved. It is only for $34.95 but I did not make this purchase. The cradit card company has reported my account as $30 past due to the credit reporting agencies. I thought I had rights under the dispute process, how can I have this removed from my credit report? Thank you.
