I am in California. In the last four years, I took three seperate vacations with a friend. Each time she had to borrow large sums of money from me. In total it comes to about $3000.00. I do believe, in the beginning, she had every intention of repaying the loans. She has even stated so, in front of many others. The problem is, now we have had a falling-out (nothing to do with the loans) and I want to know what my rights are regarding collecting from her. I have no written IOU. I have sent her a letter saying I expect full payment in 90 days, but I have received no resonse.

Thank You

My response:

You call Judge Judy's show and set up an appointment. That's what you should do.
