I have started a medical marijuana dispensary in santa clara county. I want to start a delivery service with the dispensary but I believe this clause prevents me from doing so.
Sec. B26-5. Delivery prohibited.
No person employed by or affiliated with a medicinal marijuana dispensary
shall deliver medicinal marijuana to a patient.
Now if i start a separate business entity to deliver marijuana that isn't affiliated with my dispensary, can I now deliver? Or would the delivery service business have to be opened under some other name to make sure that it is completely not affiliated with the dispensary?
