My father-in-law's estate was in an Family Limited partnership. He passed away almost 2 years ago and taxes were file almost 15 months ago. As of today we have yet to receive an answer from the IRS on the taxes paid.
Is it legal to dissolve this partnership now if all parties are in agreement? If not, when can it be dissolved?
If it can't be dissolved can funds be distributed from the partnership and is there a limit on the amount?
