What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania

I entered into a partnership with a friend. Agreement was verbal. the agreement was that everything would be split in half.

business has been around for 5 years but partnership only 12 weeks.

I have decided to dissolve partnership due to partner does not exhibit qualifications he said he had. the two jobs that he was in control of loss money and customer complaints were received.

I will be giving him a truck and half of income of jobs that were performed while still in partnership. partner has been known to be very vengeful.

first, is there any legal ramifications I need to worry about?

second, I am worried about him slandering my name and business. currently, my business and my name is well-known and respected. is there anything I could do to avoid this.
