We own a small DVD rental business in a small rural community. We have several customers who are refusing to return the rental movies to us. I have gone as far as going to their home to ask for the movies (this works most of the time).
I want to know if it is considered THEFT if the customer does not return our property to us since it is obviously past the paid rental period. I know I can go to small claims court but is it also possible to file a police report since they have our stolen property?
